Dinosaur footprints on Salema beach

Pre-historic Dinosaur Footprints

Amazingly, among the limestone rocks of the golden beaches at the picturesque village of Salema you will find a trail of large fossilized dinosaur footprints.

Discovered in 2001 by geologists from Lisbon University, they are a must-see for budding young paleontologists!
