City tax

A City Tax, payable to the Council of Albufeira, where our Villa Hibiscus Beach House (part of Vila Vita Collection) is located, applies to all bookings made after 02 May 2024. This will come into effect as from 21 May 2024, and be applied hence forward.

The value charged at check-in time to the guests is of 2€ per adult (13 years and older), per night, for a maximum of 7 consecutive nights per stay.  This amount will only be applied for stays between 1 April and 31 October, each year.

• Children up to and including 12 years of age, properly identified (by ID or passport), are not required to pay the City Tax, nor do guests whose stay is due to medical treatment, are unwell or need medical assistance. These guests will not be required to pay the City Tax during the time they are unwell and are subject to providing a valid medical declaration.
• Guests staying 8 or more nights are requested to pay a maximum of 7 nights City Tax per person, as stated above.
