City tax

VAT and service taxes are included in our rates.  City Tax is not included.

A City Tax applies to properties located in the municipality of Albufeira, where Villa Hibiscus Beach House and Casa Rosa dos Ventos (part of the Vila Vita Collection) are situated.

This tax is applicable to stays between 1 April and 31 October each year. Value to be charged is 2€ per adult (13 years and over), per night, for a maximum of 7 consecutive nights per stay.

These values are subject to change in accordance with local regulations.

• Children up to and including 12 years of age, properly identified (by ID or passport), are not required to pay the City Tax, nor do guests whose stay is due to medical treatment, are unwell or need medical assistance. These guests will not be required to pay the City Tax during the time they are unwell and are subject to providing a valid medical declaration.
• Guests staying 8 or more nights are requested to pay a maximum of 7 nights City Tax per person, as stated above.
